Teaching

I have been privileged to be a Technical Theatre educator for the majority of my professional career. Across three schools, from Chicago to Denver, I have been able to introduce hundreds of young adults to the world of Technical Theatre.

I have designed and executed lesson plans for all ages and skill levels – Kindergarten through High School – and created and grown several robust extra-curricular stage crew clubs.

But between all the teaching, lesson planning, and advising – the most rewarding moment is always when the lights dim, the curtain opens, and I get to sit in the back of the theater and watch my students run their show.
